The scholarship is available to students undertaking a defence-related honours degree or degree with honours at the University of Adelaide; Flinders University; or the University of South Australia. Student must be studying honours in a defence related area such as maths, physical sciences, computer science, information systems or engineering or be able to otherwise able to demonstrate an interest in defence (e.g. through work experience).
BENEFITS
Up to 75 scholarships will be available in South Australia in 2012 to students enrolled in an honours year. The scholarship has a value of $5000 payable in instalments of $2500 each semester.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must:
- be Australian citizens
- be eligible for admission to an honours degree or degree with honours at the University of Adelaide; Flinders University; or the University of South Australia.
- be studying in a defence related area, as determined by the university or the student must otherwise be able to demonstrate an interest in defence.
- maintain satisfactory academic progress and full time enrolment.
APPLICATION
Applications should be submitted online through the Flinders University Student Information System. Applicants will need to login and navigate to the My Scholarships tab to submit an application. The application form for this scholarship is called “DFEEST Defence Scholarship", or you can search for it by the keyword "Defence".
